CANCELLATION & MODIFICATION POLICY

At Eduleaf, we understand that plans can change and mistakes may occur during the ordering process. To ensure transparency and a fair experience for all customers, this Cancellation & Modification Policy explains when and how orders may be canceled or updated.

This policy applies to all orders placed on Eduleaf.us.

1. Eligibility for Order Cancellation

You may request a cancellation only before your order has been handed over to the shipping carrier.

Eligible Orders

An order may be canceled if:

  • The order status is “Processing”

  • The package has not been picked up or scanned by the carrier

  • Fulfillment has not yet begun

Non-Eligible Orders

An order cannot be canceled if:

  • The package has been handed over to the carrier

  • The order status is “Shipped,” “In Transit,” or “Out for Delivery”

  • A carrier scan has already occurred

  • The order is under security, payment, or fraud verification

  • The order has entered final fulfillment

2. Cancellation Policy

Full Refund for Eligible Cancellations

If your cancellation request is approved:

  • You will receive a full refund to your original payment method

  • No cancellation fees will be charged

  • If a tracking number has been created but the package remains in our facility, cancellation may still be possible

Using this subject line helps our team identify and prioritize urgent cancellation requests.

Cancellation Request Review Time

  • Cancellation requests are typically reviewed within 1–3 business hours during operating hours

  • Submitting a request does not guarantee cancellation if the order has already progressed to fulfillment

3. Order Modification Policy

To maintain accuracy, inventory integrity, and security, order modifications are limited.

3.1 Shipping Address Changes

We may update the shipping address only if:

  • The order is still in our warehouse

  • The package has not been handed to the carrier

Once the carrier has picked up the package, shipping address changes are no longer possible.

3.2 Item Changes in an Order

Eduleaf does not modify items within an existing order. This includes:

  • Replacing one book with another

  • Adding additional items

  • Removing items from the order

How to Change Items

If you need different items, please:

  • Request cancellation of the original order (if eligible)

  • Place a new order with the correct items

3.3 No Modifications After Carrier Handover

Once an order has been handed to the shipping carrier or scanned, we are unable to:

  • Cancel the order

  • Modify the shipping address

  • Change ordered items

  • Update customer details

This policy is required for security, inventory control, and carrier compliance.

3.4 Products Delivered via Electronic Access

Certain products offered on Eduleaf may be delivered through electronic access or online fulfillment rather than physical shipment. Orders for these products are considered fulfilled once access has been successfully provided.

Because these products are not returned in a physical form:

  • Cancellation, return, or refusal of delivery does not apply once the order has been processed

  • Requests based on personal preference, change of mind, or lack of interest are not eligible for cancellation or refund

  • Refunds may be reviewed only in cases where a verified issue on our end prevents proper access to the purchased content

By completing the purchase, customers acknowledge that they have reviewed the product details and agree to the terms applicable to electronically fulfilled products under Eduleaf’s policies.

4. Orders That Have Already Shipped

If your request is received after the carrier has picked up the package:

  • The order can no longer be canceled or modified

  • The order will be handled under our Returns Policy

Available Options

  1. Refuse Delivery:
    You may refuse the package at delivery. The shipment will be returned to us according to carrier procedures.
  2. Accept and Return:
    You may accept the package and follow our return instructions to request a refund, subject to eligibility.

5. Refund Timeline

If your cancellation request is approved:

  • A refund will be issued promptly to your original payment method

  • Please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer

  • Refund processing times vary by financial institution and are outside our direct control

6. Exceptions and Limitations

Orders may not be canceled or modified if:

  • The order is under fraud review or payment verification

  • Additional authentication is required by the payment provider

  • The order has entered final fulfillment

  • The order has already shipped or is in transit

All orders follow standard eligibility rules. Eduleaf does not currently offer pre-orders or custom items.
